What PBHero is (and isn't)
PBHero is a personal best tracker and reflection tool for parents to use with their children, built around Athletics events (track, field, swimming) and any custom event you can time, measure, or count. PBHero is NOT a coach, a medical device, a physiotherapist, or a performance-science platform. Nothing in PBHero is professional advice. If your child is training hard, get real humans involved — coaches, physios, GPs.
Premium subscription (PBHero Family)
PBHero Family is an optional subscription. Pricing is shown on the subscription screen inside the app. A 7-day free trial starts when you tap Subscribe; you can cancel during the trial in the App Store and not be charged. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal. You manage and cancel your subscription in the App Store → your Apple ID → Subscriptions. We can't cancel an Apple-managed subscription on your behalf — only you can. PBHero Family supports Apple Family Sharing, so one subscription covers the organiser plus up to five family members.
What Premium adds
Unlimited child profiles, a parent-designed reward shop, a per-event progression chart, and CSV export of attempt history. All core tracking and reflection features — events, PBs, Then-vs-Now, Growth insights, Moments, Hero sigil, Island, celebration — are free for one child and stay free.
Your content is yours
The PBs, reflections, audio clips, transcripts, notes, and media references you create in PBHero belong to you. PBHero stores them on your device so you can use the app; that's the extent of our claim over them. You can export your attempt history to CSV from the event history screen at any time. "Your child's PBs are yours forever" is a promise we take literally — free or Premium, we will never delete your history.
Acceptable use
Please don't use PBHero to log fraudulent times for competitive purposes, attach media that isn't yours to share, or attempt to reverse-engineer the app. If a family member is using the app in a way that would embarrass or distress your child, that's something for your household to handle — PBHero is a private family tool, not a publishing platform.
Our content
The PBHero name, Coach Kit mascot, hero sigil, island, shard designs, icons, typography choices, prompt copy, and overall visual identity are ours. Please don't copy them into other products.
No warranty; limitation of liability
PBHero is provided "as is". We work hard to make it reliable, but we can't guarantee it will be free of bugs, always available, or suitable for any specific purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PBHero is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app. None of this limits rights you have under Australian Consumer Law, which are not excludable.
Ending use
You can stop using PBHero at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend access for anyone who materially breaches these terms.
Changes to these terms
If we update these terms, we'll update this page and bump the effective date. Material changes will be surfaced the first time you open the updated version of the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. If we have a disagreement, we'd love to sort it out by email first: support@connectedpe.com.
